Our Service Area

Who are we kidding? Our service area is anywhere you want to go that a moving truck can access. But we are a Boulder moving company, so whether you’re relocating within, departing from or coming to the Athens of the West, we can hook you up. Whatever your deal is, ours is this: We offer speedy, affordable and professional moving services across the Boulder and Denver metro areas, which are not the same, because Boulder definitely isn’t a suburb of Denver.

In Boulder, our local movers cover every neighborhood, including:

  • Mapleton Hill, Wonderland Hills and Pine Brook Hill
  • Table Mesa, Martin Acres and South Boulder
  • North Boulder, Newlands and Chautauqua
  • Gunbarrel, Niwot and unincorporated Boulder County
  • University Hill and the blocks around CU Boulder
  • ZIP codes 80301, 80302, 80303, 80304 and 80305

We also serve the cities nearby. See our Superior moving services, Broomfield movers, Westminster moving company, Arvada movers, Golden moving company and Thornton movers pages. Moving to or from the city itself? Start with our Denver movers page.

Moving Proz Residential Mover

RESIDENTIAL MOVERS

We’re not just any residential moving company. You can trust us to move everything from your flatscreen to your framed Jello Biafra poster as if they were a UK pressing of Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables. Learn more about our residential movers in Denver.

Whatever kind of tech, furniture and machinery you possess, we can move it. We’ll create custom crating if needed. And you won’t have to dam up your revenue streams to get it done, dammit! PACKING SERVICES

When it comes to packing, moving company policies differ. We can sell you the supplies, pack everything for you or just move your boxes (assuming you’ve sealed them properly). However, most people are glad they let us take this off their plates. It goes faster, with less packing materials used and minimal breakage. Learn more about our packing services in Boulder.

PIANO MOVERS

Pianos are heavy. Boulder is hilly. If you fear a Laurel & Hardy short about to happen, congratulations. You are displaying what psychologists call “appropriate affect.” We’ll bring the manpower and special tools necessary. Leave the 88s to us. Our Boulder piano movers use dollies, skid boards and padding built for uprights and grands.

LOCAL MOVERS

If you’re hiring a local moving company, hire a company that’s been local for long enough to know Pearl Street from Pearl Parkway. We can’t tell you if you’ll be happier in Mapleton Hill or Wonderland Hills, but at least we know which one gets the “s.” We’re one of the local moving companies in Boulder, CO, that bills by the quarter hour, with no fuel, stair or walking-distance fees. Learn more about our local movers.

LONG-DISTANCE MOVERS

Remember how everyone used to love Southwest Airlines? Screw up a long-distance move and just wait for your partner to announce, “Honey, I’m moving in with Frontier.” Seriously, the logistics of a move are a huge pain that our long-distance moving company can eliminate for you. Our long-distance movers handle out-of-state and cross-country moves with a dedicated crew and truck and a written estimate before we load.

STORAGE

Closing dates and lease dates don’t always line up. If you need to hold your belongings for a few days or a few months, our Denver storage options keep everything in one place until you’re ready.

How Much Do Boulder Movers Cost?

Reliable Movers in Boulder, CO

Boulder and Denver were founded around the same time during the Gold Rush, and each occupies an eponymous county. Yes, they’re close to each other and, yes, Denver is way bigger. But Boulder is so totally its own deal that it is much more a neighbor of Denver than its offspring (in other words, not a suburb).

A college town and tech mecca blessed with crazy topography and outdoors adventurers to match, Boulder has, at various times in its recent history, been called “America’s Skinniest City,” its “Most Educated Metro Area” and the country’s “Foodiest Town.”

Moving Proz is family owned and operated, and holds Colorado PUC household goods permit HHG-00680. We’re BBB-accredited with an A rating, insured, and happy to show proof of insurance at any time. When you call, a real person answers (none of this A.I. crap). And if we have to take your furniture apart to move it, we put it back together. No charge for either.

Moving to Boulder, CO

If the People’s Republic of Boulder is for you, we can dig it. You’re a little counterculture, maybe a little anti-The Man or maybe an aspirational tech genius with designs on becoming a new, socially conscious version of The Man.

Or maybe you’re none of those things. Boulder does not judge (well, maybe a little). After all, it is, in the words of coloradoencyclopedia.org “a citadel of freethinking” and “a unique cultural amalgam,” or any other combination of words that sounds at once open minded and a little high minded.

There are 127 named mountains in Boulder County. Whether you’re looking to hike all over the Front Range or concentrate on technical climbs at the five Flatirons, Moving Proz will get you set up in your base camp with zero stress.
