Your business runs on uptime. Every hour your team spends taping boxes is an hour they aren’t billing clients, helping customers, or shipping product. That’s why Moving Proz handles the entire commercial move for you, start to finish.

We are a licensed, woman-owned commercial moving company. Our crews work out of Denver and Kansas City. We have moved offices, clinics, stores, restaurants, warehouses, and IT-heavy spaces for over ten years. We bill in quarter-hour increments. We charge no mileage fees, no fuel surcharges, and no stair fees. Your move coordinator stays the same person from quote to wrap-up.

What a Commercial Move Includes With Moving Proz

A commercial move is more than loading a truck. We plan the work in stages so your team keeps working while we keep moving.

A typical project from us covers:

  • A pre-move site survey at both the old and new addresses
  • A written move plan with timeline, crew size, and cost
  • Furniture take-down, wrapping, and re-assembly
  • Computer, server, and electronics packing with anti-static materials
  • File and archive handling with chain-of-custody tracking
  • Cubicle and modular workstation breakdown
  • Heavy equipment rigging for printers, safes, and machinery
  • Truck loading, transport, and unloading
  • Setup and placement at the new space, per your floor plan
  • Debris and packing material removal after the move

If you need help packing the small stuff too, our professional packing services cover everything from desk drawers to break-room kitchens.

Industries We Move

Different businesses need different handling. Our crews train for the materials and risks each industry brings.

Office and Corporate Moves

We move offices of every size. Five-person agencies and 200-seat corporate floors get the same plan, just scaled to fit. Most office moves include workstation tagging, IT cabling, file systems, and conference room setup. We can work nights or weekends so your Monday morning runs as planned. For pure furniture-and-cubicle work, see our office movers page.

Healthcare and Medical Office Moves

Clinics, dental offices, surgical centers, and outpatient sites each carry sensitive gear and patient records. Our team is trained on HIPAA-aware file handling. We also move imaging machines, exam tables, and lab gear. Get the full picture on our healthcare moving services page.

IT, Server Room, and Data Center Moves

Servers, network gear, and rack hardware need specific care and shutdown steps. We work with your IT lead, label every cable, and use anti-static crates and air-ride trucks. Our IT relocation services walk through the full process.

Retail and Restaurant Moves

Storefront moves run on tight windows. We work nights so your store opens the next morning. Restaurant moves cover cold-line gear, fixture protection, and POS hardware transport.

Warehouse and Industrial Moves

Pallet racks, forklifts, conveyors, and bulk inventory all need rigging and load planning. If you need short-term or long-term space between locations, we offer warehousing in Kansas City and secure storage in Denver.

How a Commercial Move Works With Moving Proz

We use the same five-step process for a 10-person office or a 50,000 square foot warehouse. The crew size changes. The discipline does not.

Step 1: Site Survey and Scope

A move coordinator visits your current space and the new one. They count workstations, flag special-handling items, note access points, and ask about elevator and dock hours. The visit takes one to two hours.

Step 2: Written Move Plan and Quote

You get a written plan within 48 hours of the survey. It lists crew size, truck count, hours, and materials. The quote is flat or hourly with no surprise add-ons. We tell you what is and is not included.

Step 3: Pre-Move Prep

We drop off labels, crates, and packing materials in advance. Our team handles staging and the pre-pack of common areas. Your staff packs personal desk items, or we handle that too if you prefer.

Step 4: Move Day

A foreman runs the crew. Your move coordinator is on site or on call. We pad-wrap furniture, secure electronics, load by zone, and unload to your floor plan. We can work after hours or on weekends if your business cannot afford daytime downtime.

Step 5: Post-Move Walk-Through

We walk the new space with you. We confirm placement, fix small issues, and clear all packing debris. If anything needs to go to storage, our trucks head straight there.

Locations We Serve

Moving Proz runs two metro hubs. Each one has its own crew, trucks, and warehouse space.

Kansas City Metro

Our Kansas City crews cover the full metro on both sides of the state line. We work the Crossroads, Lee’s Summit, Overland Park, Olathe, Lenexa, and beyond. For local work in this metro, see our Kansas City commercial movers page or our Kansas City business movers hub.

Denver Metro

Our Denver crews handle the full Front Range. We move clients in downtown Denver, Boulder, Aurora, Lakewood, Centennial, and Westminster. For commercial work in this metro, visit our Denver business movers page.

Long-Distance Commercial Moves

We also handle moves between our two metros, into nearby states, and across the country. See long-distance moving or local moving services for more on how we price by distance.

Why Businesses Choose Moving Proz

You have options. Here is what sets us apart for commercial work.

Licensed, insured, and AMSA member. We carry full general liability and cargo insurance. We are a member of the American Moving and Storage Association. We hold an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.

Woman-owned, SBA-certified. If your company tracks supplier diversity, we qualify as a certified woman-owned, minority-owned business.

Clear billing. Quarter-hour increments. No mileage charges. No stair fees. No fuel surcharges. The number on the quote is the number on the invoice. Scope changes need your written OK.

Dedicated move coordinator. One person owns your account from quote to wrap-up. You never get bounced between dispatchers.

After-hours and weekend slots. Your business does not have to stop for our schedule.

Built by movers, not investors. Founder Derek Shaw started Moving Proz over a decade ago. The local market needed an honest option. That is still how the company runs.

Commercial Moving FAQs

Commercial moves are priced by hours, crew size, truck count, and any specialty handling. A small office of ten to fifteen people runs a half-day to a full day. We send a four-to-six person crew. A warehouse or multi-floor office can run several days. We send a written quote after the site survey, and you can compare it to other bids before you decide.

Two to six weeks is the sweet spot for most commercial moves. Larger projects need eight to twelve weeks of lead time. We do take short-notice work when crews are open. Call as early as you can to lock in your date.
