Affordable Moving Services in Lawrence, KS

Lawrence is sorta perfect. College towns keep you young, and Lawrence is blessed with both the University of Kansas, with its 28,000 students, and Haskell Indian Nations University, the nation’s only inter-tribal university for Native Americans.

It’s also situated neatly between Kansas City and the state capital of Topeka, further enriching a vibe that values education, cultural enrichment and diversity, and service.

Some flex-and-fumble moving company staffed with steroid summer temps isn’t going to cut it in a town this smart. We’ll respect your intelligence. We’ll give you the benefit of our experience and realize the final decision is yours.  Every job has a boss, and with us, you’re it. Just trust us when it comes to sleeper sofas and stairwells. You’ll be glad you did.

When you’re settled into your new home or office, we want you to recommend us to your friends and colleagues as the best movers in Lawrence, KS. We don’t get that if we’re a bunch of know-it-all tools whose first loyalty is to our bottom line.

But, not bragging, we do get that. Often. Check out our testimonials.

Professional Lawrence, KS Movers

Let’s be honest — we really do know our stuff. Not saying we’re perfect. There is such a thing as eyes that are too blue. But just in case you don’t feel like following the link above, our customers tend to dig us for reasons such as:

  • We’re family owned and operated
  • Transparent pricing (seriously, some companies sneak in charges for stairs — can you believe it?)
  • We have our papers (insurance, licenses, all nice and legal like)
  • Packing supplies (and we’re not trying to make our margins on bubble wrap)
  • Disassembly and assembly included (with no extra screws left over)
  • Real people to talk to when you call
Headline graphcic.

Living in Lawrence, KS

With just shy of 100,000 residents (a little less during summer break), Lawrence is way more than just a college town. Downtown Lawrence was ranked by the US National Trust for Preservation as one of the nation’s “Dozen Most Distinctive Destinations. Beyond that, it’s on nearly as many lists as Jennifer Aniston, circa 1996. A sampling of mentions in recent years:

  • No. 6 in the US for bachelor’s degrees per capita (oh, that is kind of a college-y thing, isn’t it?)
  • No. 8 among “the 100 Best Small Art Towns In America” (we assume this means small by population, not tiny paintings)
  • No. 12 among US cities with artists in the workforce (so be ready for some florid emails)
  • No. 2 on the NCAA’s list of America’s 5 Best College Basketball Towns
  • No. 84 among the Top 100 Best Places to Live in America (“We’re No. 84!” lacks a little something, but still…)

It was also the first city in Kansas to earn a perfect score on the Human Rights Campaign’s Municipal Equality Index, which is based on LGBTQ+ inclusion in laws, policies, and services. So, if you’re boycotting Bud Light, you might want to let us help you move someplace else. Which we will. Gladly.
